General Information


This course is intended for advanced surgeons.

Educational Objectives
Upon completion of this course, the surgeon should be able to:
  • Use safely and effectively specialty medical devices from Stryker: Matta Pelvic System (implants / instruments), Reduction Instruments, Cordless Driver Power Tools and the PROfx Surgical Table from Mizuhosi .
  • Explain the classification of acetabular and pelvic fractures and choices in acute care management.
  • Delineate algorithmic choices in surgical approach and intraoperative techniques based on patient and fracture characteristics.
  • Assess the selection and use of fracture devices and instrumentation based on fracture type.
  • Discuss the prevention and management of perioperative complications.
  • Assess the surgical management of the live patient case (subject to patient availability).
  • Demonstrate the application of devices and instrumentation on cadaver models.
  • Examine attendees’ cases in small groups to determine surgical choices and show-case outcomes.
  • Evaluate clinical studies and outcomes and the potential impact on changes in practice.

The registration fee of 1’600 Euros includes:
