The S2 Tibial Nail Tx is a locking nail system that brings together the capabilities and benefits of past nailing systems to create a single, integrated surgical resource for fixation of long bone fractures.
All nails are cannulated. Diameters 9-14 mm nails use 5.0 mm locking screws proximal and distal and do not require guide wire exchange after removal.
A special End Cap prevents bony ingrowth into the driving end to facilitate nail removal.
It offers the advantages of:
- A highly stable implant due to the special proximal locking configuration.
- Accommodating reamed or unreamed procedures.
- Providing solutions for very proximal and very distal tibia fractures.
